How Our Small-Batch, Handmade Process Works
Share
In a world of mass production, we do things differently. Every candle and every bar of soap from HandHearth Naturals is made by hand, in small batches, with ingredients we've carefully chosen. Here's a look at what that actually means — and why it matters for you.
What "Small-Batch" Really Means
Small-batch isn't just a buzzword for us. It means we make limited quantities at a time, so we can give full attention to every pour, every mix, and every bar. There's no assembly line, no automated filling machine — just hands-on craftsmanship from start to finish.
The result? Products that are consistent, intentional, and made with care — not just cranked out to meet a quota.
Our Soap-Making Process
Our goat milk soaps are made using the cold process method, which preserves the natural goodness of every ingredient:
- We start with real goat milk — fresh and full of skin-nourishing vitamins and fatty acids.
- We blend in skin-loving oils and let the natural saponification process do its work.
- We add organic essential oils for scent — no synthetic fragrances.
- Each bar is hand-cut and then cured for several weeks to create a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather.

Our Candle-Pouring Process
Our soy candles are hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax:
- We melt the soy wax slowly to the right temperature — rushing this step affects the final burn quality.
- We blend in organic essential oils at precisely the right moment to maximize scent throw.
- Each candle is poured by hand and allowed to cure fully before it leaves our hands.

Why It Matters
When you buy from HandHearth Naturals, you're not getting a product made by a machine in a warehouse. You're getting something made with intention — by someone who cares about what goes into it and what it does for you. That's the handmade difference, and it's something we're proud of every single day.
